an aerobic base.
That idea is dead wrong. For a lot of people, this
idea is more controversial than the idea of cutting
squats from your program.

Eleet Fitness believes that the general population and the athlete in training will benefit greatly from interval style training. Research from Izumi Tabata, Ph.D., has shown the impact of high intensity interval training on both aerobic and anaerobic capacity. These benefits from a single exercise routine are extremely rare and very time effecient. This allows the participant to maximize his or her time and effort. For these reasons, we at Eleet Fitness highly recommend a properly progressed training program that includes high intensity interval training.
Note: We completely understand that the beginner will not be able to safely and effectively perform the original Tabata protocol however modifications can be made to prepare almost anyone for high intensity interval style training.
